1st Day Of Kindergarten!! (Pick-Up)

Wow--what an eventful day. I am tired. Mike and I went to go and get Ben this afternoon around 3ish. We were anxiously awaiting the door to open. When it did Ben was just walking out at a slow pace. I don't think he really knew what was going on. He came out and just waited patiently and then he saw us. We had to wait a little bit before getting him since they don't realease the kindergartners unless someone is there to pick them up. Ben wouldn't tell us how his day was at first, he was just very, very hyper. So we went and got Sedona from daycare and headed home. I opened his backpack to see a green folder so I looked in it and found his artwork for the day. They worked on the letter "A". I had to bribe Ben w/a Ho Ho in order to get him to tell me how his day was. It worked. He told me that after we left he went into the classroom and they got water in their waterbottles. Then they colored and went to the cafeteria and took a short nap--not a long nap a short nap. That was about all I got out of him. He wants to go back tomorrow so I guess it was a good first day of Kindergarten!! Phewwww!
