Spring Training Game--Brewers vs Giants

Another beautiful day in Arizona--70 a little windy with clouds in the sky letting the sun shine through every so often. Couldn't have asked for more. For Mike's birthday back in February I bought him tickets to the spring training game today. It was the San Fran Giants vs. the Milwaukee Brewers. It was at the Scottsdale stadium. We arrived early to see both teams warm up. I tried to explain to Mike where the tickets where, but he wasn't listening to me so he didn't bother to bring his baseball for autographs. Once he saw where the seats were, we needed to buy a baseball and a marker. We were 3 rows up from the field right down past the 3rd baseline. Mike got a practice ball and was excited. He also got 6 players (if not more) to sign his baseball--and they were actual players, not the minor leaguers. The game was good despite the 8-6 loss. Mike and I are both sunburnt. We are going to look like farmers. We had a good group of people around us--some were here from Wisconsin to see the game and some live here now but were from Wisconsin--everyone was super nice and friendly. It reminded me of that midwestern hospitality that you don't always find in Arizona. I miss that!!
