****Ben's Birthday Park Party****

What a beautiful day to have Ben's birthday party at the park. It was sunny and 72!! We had a good time. The kids played: Basketball, Bubbles, Soccer, Frisbee and T-Ball. Everyone had a blast. The theme was Dinosaurs--to top it off the cake had volcanos on it so Ben was stoked. His two favorite things at the moment, Volcanos and Dinosaurs!!

I booked the Palo Verde ramada from 11a-1:30p and wouldn't ya know it, there were people in the ramada when we arrived at 10:45am. They were a little ticked they had to leave, but I paid you didn't so that's what happens when you don't reserve it ahead of time--Sorry. Shortly after that the Park Ranger came by to see how everything was going and we explained what happened but that everything was good now. The ramada was booked at 2p so I knew we needed to be cleaned up by 1:30p. The 2:00 party showed up at 1p and was staring us down the whole time--we didn't even finish cleaning up the water bottles that were left on the table before they were putting their tablecloths and whatever else up. I just can't believe the nerve of people. The park ranger came by about 1:15 and asked how everything was going and Mike explained how the other party was here and he said technically they didn't pay for it 'til 2 so if you need to stay past 1:30 go for it. We didn't needless to say but let's just say people never cease to amaze me.

Other than that we had no issues. I was proud of myself for not eating a piece of cake--it was chocolate and looked oh so good, but I refrained. Losing weight is my goal now--not gaining it all back--15 pounds and counting!! Mike and I are going to a spring training game tomorrow--The Giants vs. The Brewers--I am excited!!
