Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I am thankful to have a stable job to provide for my family. I am very thankful to have such loving family and friends. I am thankful for my two beautiful children that amaze me more and more each and every day. And last but not least I am thankful for my health so I can live a full life each and every day.
I hope everyone had a great turkey day. We traveled 90 miles to Tucson today. Traffic was not fun on the way down there, but at least it wasn't raining. Once we got there it did start to rain cats and dogs for awhile. We had a lovely lunch consisting of Turkey, Ham, Green Bean Casserole, Corn, Mashed Potatoes (w/cream cheese in them--yum, yum, yum) Carrots, Stuffing, Deviled Eggs, and much much more. We had a nice and enjoyable time. Ben was having a blast playing w/his cousin Ethan. Sedona was intrigued by her 4th cousin Nathan that is almost 6 months old. For once, she wasn't the youngest one. We headed home and traffic was a lot better, but we hit the rain on the way home. Luckily I had Mike buy new windshield wipers yesterday thinking that would happen so it wasn't a problem.
So tomorrow I am going to venture out for Black Friday. 1st stop is Kohls at 4a then Wal-Mart at 5 and then Target at 6. Wish me luck--I have never done this before since I am always working, but this year I have off. When I come home, the kids, hubby and I will be putting up Christmas decorations including the tree. I am so excited. I hope Sedona leaves the tree alone since she can walk and get into it this year--only time will tell........
