Vacation in Palm Springs, California

We spent 5 days in Palm Springs this past week.  It was hot, hot, hot.  I went to visit one of my friends from Wisconsin that is spending some time there.  It was good to see him since I haven't seen him in a very long time.  We had a fun time overall.  I learned that I will not go on a road trip with my kids again until they are older.  We had to stop every "5 minutes" it seemed to go potty.  UGH!  I am the type of person that just wants to get where we are going and not stop everywhere along the way.  Palm Springs is a neat little city.  They do have a lot to do.  The first night we went to Cars 2.  We went to a Regal Cinema which was really nice.  Stadium seating with big chairs.  :) Before the movie we had dinner at Fatburger.  This was the first time any of us had been here and it was delicious. The next day we went to The Living Desert which was a zoo.  The kids had a blast.  They had a Discovery Museum which was awesome.  The next day we went to Knott's Soak City where the kids had a blast playing in the water.  We were there from 10A-4:30p.  Later that night Mike and Ben went to see Transformers 3 while Sedona and I went to a street fair downtown.  It was a long day for all of us. The next day we went and did the Aerial Tramway ride up to Mt. Jacinto.  Not sure if I would do this again.  It was kind of scary.  Going up was hard but going down was a breeze.  It was nice and cool on top of the mountain.  After we did that, we went to the Cabazan Outlet Mall.  They have so many great stores.  I had to go into the Coach store where I acquired my first Coach purse.  It was already on sale and plus your purchase was an additional 30% off.  I couldn't pass it up.  I love it.  The next day we came home to hot Arizona where we set a record high.  Yikes!  Here are some random pics from our trip the rest will be in the posts below by the attractions.  Enjoy!
