Meet Rex!

Ben wanted a turtle for his birthday however Mike came and had lunch w/me yesterday so we wandered into PetSmart and thought about a bunny.  We came home and asked Ben if he wanted a Turtle or a Bunny for his birthday and he said a bunny because it bounces.  Oh gotta love children.  I went onto Craigslist and found a lady that breeds bunnies and we we able to see them this morning.  Ben and I picked out a gray Velvetten Rabbit.  We had decided that his name would be Rex since his favorite dinosaur is the T-Rex.  (He wanted to name it bunny so this was much better.)  He is adjusting well.  He loves to explore the back yard.  He does have a cage as well.  We have a litter box in there and we are hoping we can train him to use it.  Happy Birthday Ben!  Okay so I'm a little early by a month but what can I say, I'm a planner.  :)
