We had such a great Turkey day--I hope everyone else did as well. I awoke at 6:30 this morning and watched TV for an hour and then called my Mom. Chatted for a little bit and then put the Turkey in the oven. Watched the Macy's Day parade and cooked. We had twice baked mashed potatoes (my favorite), green bean casserole (another favorite of mine), corn, stuffing, pickles, olives, rolls, cranberry sauce and of course turkey. For dessert we had Apple Pie w/ice cream or my favorite Pumpkin Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. We just had a small get together w/my Mother-in-law and my sister-in-law but it was nice and relaxing. Later on in the day we went over to see the kids old daycare. They were in town for just a few days and we were fortunate enough to be able to see them. It was nice to catch up with them. :) Next up -- Christmas!!
