Water Fun!!

Today I took the kids to Mesquite Groves Acquatic Center in Chandler. It is at Basha's High School. We had a super fun time. Shaedean and her family came with us as well. They had everything including life vests for the kids--all you have to do is ask. We arrived around 1p and left when they closed at 5p. Apparently they were rushing everyone out because someone cracked their head open or hit their head or I don't know. I do know the Ambulance and Fireman were called. I didn't get to see them even though we were parked right by where they were--Bummer!! I put Water Babies sunscreen on the kids twice throughout the day and I don't think they got burnt. Me on the other hand I put some on my face and that was it so now I am paying for it. It was the perfect day--95 and blue skies, but a lot of clouds so the sun wasn't beating directly on you. Ben was able to go down both of the big slides. He is above 42" tall finally! Woo Hoo. He did good on the first one, but the second one he didn't want to go down because it was dark and enclosed so Shadean so too bad and pushed him and off he went. He wanted to do it again when all was said and done. The best part about the whole day--Sedona was free since she is under 2, Ben was $.50 and I was $1.50 So $2.00 total for a day of fun in the sun? That is right up my alley!! Oh yeah and you could bring food in too--we will definetely be doing this again over the summer!

Capri Sun Time....

When we got home, we were starving so I made Spaghetti. I made the sauce from a packet because I can't find one in the can that I care for and it turned out yummmmy. Sedona attempted to eat it all by herself and this is what happened. Needless to say it was bath night anyhow so that is where she ended up once she was all done!!
