Mike picked the kids up from daycare today because I was held at work longer than expected. When I got home, I walked in the door and Ben yelled Happy Mother's Day!! He made me a Cookie Bouquet at daycare. As you can see one of the cookies didn't make it home in one piece. He was so proud of his present and of course I was impressed. I went to a jewelry party last night so I bought some jewelry as my Mother's Day present from hubby--aren't those the best kind of presents--the one's you pick out yourself?
Yesterday we got Ben screened for Kindergarten. He was so cute. I was filling out paperwork and he was sitting next to me and a lady came over to get him and she said--Do you want to come with me so I can test you? and he said Uh-Huh and then got up turned to me and started to bawl--it was a moment. Mike went with him as far as he could and then he was fine. I wonder how the first day will go? Yeah--the first day--July 20th--Oh the joys of year round school!!
